Our mission here at Fargo Writers is, as the home page states, very simple: to support new writing in Fargo and its surrounding communities. But it's also much more than that....
Our group's focus is to explore new and exciting avenues of writing. Writing is, after all, about taking risks: throwing a part of yourself out into the world for all to see-- exposing your emotions in their most raw and naked form.
Our group does NOT exist to reframe and rehash cliches... we are NOT here to walk the safe and well-trod roads that so many other writers walk down. If you don't want to push yourself as a writer, do NOT bother showing up at our meetings.
